In the last 10 minutes of the first half, Kainan leads 24 to 20, and inserts a third year, Miyamasu. A short and skinny, nerdy-looking Miyamasu bewilders Shohoku. But this was Kainan's Coach Takato's ingenious strategy. Miyamasu guards Hanamichi, is the complete opposite, weak player who confuses Hanamichi.
