Both Shohoku and Kainan teams are in their respective lockers rooms. Coach Takatoh of Kainan was surprised that Shohoku made it to the final four because he was expecting that Shoyo would be the greatest challenger of his team. He is confident that they would be able to defend their title once again. Meanwhile, Akagi is having a serious conversation with his team. The ultimate showdown between both teams is about to begin.
