Skylanders Academy is an animated TV series produced by Activision Blizzard Studios for Netflix. Throughout the show, the team faces many challenges and battles as they try to protect the Skylands from evil forces such as Kaos, a villainous portal master who seeks to rule the Skylands and the mysterious Darkness, a malevolent force that threatens to consume everything in its path.

Along the way, the Skylanders meet many new characters, including Cynder, voiced by Felicia Day, a dark dragon who was once under Kaos's control but has since turned against him and joined the Skylanders. Other notable characters include Glumshanks, voiced by Norm Macdonald, Kaos's loyal but bumbling sidekick; Sprocket, voiced by Catherine O'Hara, a young female mechanic and inventor; and Bad Juju, voiced by Susan Sarandon, a powerful warrior with a bone to pick with the Skylanders.

Skylanders Academy is full of action, adventure, and humor. It has a unique art style that is bright and colorful, with an emphasis on bold outlines and exaggerated character designs. Each season of the show features a different plot arc, with the first season focusing on the Skylanders learning to work together as a team, the second season delving into the backstory of Spyro and Cynder, and the third season dealing with the threat of the Darkness.
