Ep 1. Franky

Franky Fitzgerald is the first episode of Skins season 5. The show goes on with a new group of teenagers after the previous cast graduated from school. The episode focuses mainly on Franky, a strange and eccentric 16-year-old girl who is starting her first day of college after a traumatic experience at her previous school. Franky is an androgynous character with a unique sense of fashion and style. The first scene shows her walking down the street wearing a full suit, white shirt, and tie. Her hair is short and her makeup is minimal, but she still manages to stand out.

Franky is a misfit who doesn't fit in with the rest of her college mates. She doesn't speak to anyone and keeps to herself. In the first few minutes of the episode, we see her riding the bus alone, singing a song while staring out the window. The camera work is great, capturing the desolate feeling of a young girl trying to cope with a new environment.

When Franky arrives at college, we meet her two new friends Alo and Rich. Alo is a somewhat strange but lovable character who takes an immediate liking to Franky. Rich is a shy and awkward boy who also seems to be drawn to Franky but lacks the courage to approach her. The three of them quickly become close.

Throughout the episode, we learn more about Franky's past and her struggles with fitting in. Her mother abandoned her when she was a child, and she has never been able to form close relationships with her peers. She also has a difficult time accepting her own gender identity, as she feels more comfortable dressing in masculine clothing and presenting in a more masculine way.

The plot of the episode revolves around a big party that is being held that night. Franky wants to go but is hesitant because she doesn't feel like she fits in with the other students. She also has a crush on her drama teacher, which makes her feel even more insecure. Alo and Rich try to convince her to come to the party, and they even offer to give her a makeover to help her fit in better.

The party scene is one of the highlights of the episode. The music is great, and the camera work captures the energy and excitement of the students. Franky is still hesitant to join in at first, but she eventually decides to let loose and have fun. She even impresses her drama teacher with her performance on the dance floor.

Overall, the episode is a great introduction to the new cast of characters and sets up some interesting storylines for the rest of the season.
