The episode ends with Emily returning home and seeing her brother and Naomi together. She feels like an outsider once again and struggles with her feelings of jealousy and inadequacy. Emily’s journey of self-discovery is far from over, but she’s taking small steps towards accepting who she is and finding her place in the world.
