Tia and Tamera are two identical twins who were separated at birth and are now reunited in their teen years. In season 1 episode 7 of Sister, Sister titled "The Pimple," Tamera wakes up to find a huge pimple on her face, which she desperately tries to cover up with makeup and a band-aid. Tia, on the other hand, seems to be having a great day, as she has just landed a job as a candy striper at the local hospital.
As Tia excitedly prepares for her new job, Tamera becomes increasingly self-conscious about her pimple and refuses to leave the house. She even turns down an invitation to go shopping with Tia, which disappoints her sister. However, Tia understands how Tamera feels and decides to stay home with her sister instead of going to work.
As the day goes on, Tamera's pimple starts to take over her life. She becomes paranoid that everyone is staring at her and even starts hallucinating that the pimple has grown to the size of a golf ball. Tia tries to reassure her that no one is paying attention to her pimple, but Tamera remains unconvinced.
Meanwhile, Tia's first day at the hospital isn't going as smoothly as she had hoped. Her supervisor, a stern woman named Ms. Brink, is constantly criticizing her and making her feel incompetent. Tia begins to question whether she is cut out for the job, but her determination and positive attitude help her soldier on.
Back at home, Tamera is still obsessing over her pimple, and she decides to take matters into her own hands. She concocts a homemade "pimple potion" out of various ingredients she finds in the kitchen, including oatmeal, honey, and vinegar. She applies the potion to her face, and to her surprise, the pimple starts to shrink.
Tia returns home from work, and she is shocked to see that Tamera's pimple has disappeared. She is happy for her sister but also a little jealous, as she feels like she is failing at her own job. Tamera reminds her that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and encourages her to keep trying.
In the end, Tia and Tamera learn valuable lessons about self-confidence and perseverance. Tia realizes that she is capable of much more than she thought and that hard work pays off. Tamera learns that her appearance is not the most important thing about her and that she should never let a pimple control her life. The sisters share a heartwarming moment as they reaffirm their love and support for each other.
