Richard, CEO of Pied Piper, is feeling the pressure of managing a growing team and navigating the obstacles that come with running a successful tech startup. With Laurie leaving the company, Richard is left to fill the void of a Chief Operating Officer. In this episode, he goes through a series of candidates, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, to find the right person for the role.
Meanwhile, Jian Yang tries to prove that he is the rightful owner of Erlich's former home and the incubator where Pied Piper got its start. With Gavin Belson also interested in the property, the race is on to gather evidence and sway the judge's decision.
Dinesh and Gilfoyle are also on a mission of their own, working to create a new algorithm for Richard's platform that will give them an edge over their competitors. Their work takes a humorous turn as they create a fake persona on a dating app in order to gather data for their algorithm.
As the episode progresses, tension builds amongst the characters as they struggle to balance their personal lives with the demands of the company. Will Richard be able to find the right person to fill the COO role and keep his team moving forward? Will Jian Yang and Gavin Belson's legal battle over the incubator go in Pied Piper's favor? And will Dinesh and Gilfoyle's unique approach to data collection pay off in the end? Tune in to find out in this exciting episode of Silicon Valley.
