In Shomin Sample season 1 episode 5, titled "Just Friends," we continue to follow the story of Kimito Kagurazaka, a high school student who is forced to attend a school for wealthy girls as a "commoner sample" to educate them on life outside of their privileged world.
In this episode, Kimito finds himself in a tough spot when he's asked by his classmate, Hakua Shiodome, to accompany her to a "practice date" so that she can learn how to act around boys. Kimito, who is known for being kind and helpful to his classmates, agrees to help her out.
As they go on their "practice date," Hakua becomes increasingly clingy and possessive towards Kimito, much to his discomfort. Meanwhile, Aika Tenkuubashi, another one of Kimito's classmates, begins to feel jealous of Hakua's time with him and decides to track them down.
As these three characters navigate their complex feelings for one another, the episode takes a comedic turn as they find themselves in some outrageous situations. From accidentally appearing on a reality TV show to being chased by a group of fangirls, Kimito and his classmates are in for a wild ride in this episode.
Throughout it all, Kimito remains his kind and level-headed self, trying to keep the peace and making sure that everyone is happy. His unwavering loyalty and compassion towards his classmates is what sets him apart from the other boys at the school, who are often seen as arrogant and entitled.
Overall, "Just Friends" is an entertaining episode that showcases the different personalities and dynamics of the characters in Shomin Sample. It's a lighthearted addition to the series that will leave viewers laughing and feeling good.
