She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 4 episode 4, titled "Pulse," follows Adora and the other princesses as they investigate a mysterious signal that leads them to an old laboratory. The signal turns out to be part of a machine designed to harness the power of the Heart of Etheria, a powerful energy source that nearly destroyed their world in the past.
As they explore the laboratory, Adora and her friends encounter numerous obstacles and challenges, including malfunctioning machinery and dangerous experiments gone wrong. Despite these setbacks, they push on and eventually discover the source of the signal: a powerful crystal that is connected to the machine.
With the help of her friends, Adora attempts to deactivate the crystal and shut down the machine, but they are interrupted by the arrival of a group of Horde soldiers who have been sent to retrieve the crystal. A fierce battle ensues, with Adora and her friends using their skills and powers to fend off the enemy forces.
As the fighting rages on, Adora experiences a strange sensation: a pulse of energy that seems to be emanating from the crystal. She realizes that the crystal is not only powering the machine, but is also affecting the Heart of Etheria itself, causing dangerous fluctuations in the energy field.
With no other options, Adora makes a risky decision: she uses her sword to shatter the crystal, destroying the machine and saving the Heart of Etheria from further damage. However, the power of the pulse is so great that it knocks her unconscious.
When she wakes up, Adora is relieved to discover that the others have managed to defeat the Horde soldiers and escape. However, she also realizes that the pulse has left her with a strange new power: the ability to sense the Heart of Etheria and its fluctuations in energy.
As the episode concludes, Adora is left to ponder the implications of this new gift and how it will impact her battles against the Horde in the future.
