Ep 5. The Day the Gundam Cried!

Natsumi, one of the human children who is following the frogs around, is ecstatic to see the collection and insists that the frogs take a closer look. The leader of the group, Sergeant Keroro, humors the girl and examines the various toys on display. However, he is immediately drawn to one particular Gundam figure that seems to have caught his attention.

Sgt. Keroro becomes obsessed with the toy and begins to have a series of strange dreams and visions where he imagines himself piloting the toy like an actual Gundam. This newfound fixation causes the rest of the frogs to become worried and concerned about their leader's mental health.

As the day wears on, the frogs continue their search for the top-secret item. However, Sgt. Keroro's obsession with the Gundam toy only grows stronger. At one point, he even loses his mind and begins to attack the other frogs, believing them to be his enemies in a real-life Gundam battle.

Eventually, the frogs are able to locate the top-secret item, a small, glowing orb that is capable of destroying entire cities. The frogs are elated with their success and are eager to report back to their superiors. However, as they attempt to leave the toy store, they are confronted by a group of human soldiers who are determined to stop the alien invasion.

In the end, the frogs are able to escape the toy store and return to their base with the top-secret item in hand. However, Sgt. Keroro is left alone with his thoughts and his Gundam toy, still lost in the fantasy of piloting his own giant robot.

Overall, The Day the Gundam Cried! is an entertaining episode that showcases the humor and charm of the Sgt. Frog series. While the plot may be somewhat surreal and nonsensical at times, it is impossible not to be charmed by the antics of the alien frogs and their wacky adventures on Earth.
