Keroro, the leading frog of the group, is always trying to think up ways to take over the world. In this particular episode, however, he's developed a new plan. Instead of just trying to take over the world, he's going to try to invade the world with energy-saving tactics.
At first, the other frogs are skeptical of Keroro's plan. They think that the humans won't fall for such a scheme and that it's just a waste of their time. But Keroro is determined to try it out, and he ropes the rest of the gang into helping him.
The plan involves infiltrating a human family's home and convincing them to switch to more energy-efficient light bulbs and appliances. It sounds simple enough, but as always, things don't go exactly as planned.
The first snag comes when they discover that the family's young daughter, Fuyuki, is an avid collector of all things alien-related. She's thrilled to have the frogs in her home and immediately starts pestering them with questions about their planet and their technology.
Keroro and the others are torn between wanting to win her over to their cause and not wanting to reveal too much about their true intentions. They try to play it cool, but Fuyuki is persistent and very observant.
As they work on getting the family to make the switch to energy-efficient appliances, the frogs start to realize that it's not as easy as they thought it would be. The father of the family, Mr. Hinata, is particularly resistant to the idea of changing his habits and spending more money on new bulbs and appliances.
Keroro and his cohorts try a variety of tactics to win him over, from using guilt to using scare tactics. But Mr. Hinata is stubborn and won't be swayed easily.
In the meantime, the family is starting to notice some strange things happening in their home. Things are disappearing and reappearing in odd places, and they start to suspect that they might have ghosts.
Keroro and the others realize that they need to do something to keep the family from getting spooked and kicking them out. They come up with a plan to create a fake ghost using their advanced alien technology.
The plan works, and the family is convinced that they have a friendly ghost living with them. They become more receptive to the frogs' suggestions, and eventually, they agree to make the switch to energy-efficient appliances.
Keroro and the gang celebrate their victory, but they soon realize that they've left behind evidence of their true identity. Fuyuki discovers a keychain that belongs to one of the frogs, and she starts to put the pieces together.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with the frogs trying to find a way to keep their true identity a secret from Fuyuki. Will they be successful, or will their plan be exposed? Only time will tell.
