While staying at Sun's mansion, Saru starts to realize how much Nagasumi loves Sun and how difficult their relationship is because of their cultural differences. Saru confronts Nagasumi about Sun and tells him that he should not give up on their relationship. She also admits that she cares for Nagasumi and wants him to be happy.

In the end, Nagasumi tells Saru that he loves Sun and that he wants to be with her forever. Saru understands his feelings and decides to support their relationship. Nagasumi thanks Saru for being a true friend and promises to stay in touch.
