Elmo and Abby's Bubble Fun
On this episode of Sesame Street, Elmo and Abby are having a blast with bubbles. The two friends begin by blowing bubbles of different sizes, shapes, and colors. They start small with tiny bubbles and work their way up to giant, colorful bubbles that are almost as big as they are.
As they play, Elmo and Abby notice that the bubbles seem to have a mind of their own. They dance around the pair, sometimes popping unexpectedly and other times bouncing off of objects in strange ways. As the episode progresses, the pair discovers that bubbles can teach them many things about science, such as the basic properties of air, surface tension, and even light refraction. They learn that different types of soap, wands, and temperatures can all affect the way that bubbles behave.
Throughout the episode, Sesame Street favorites such as Big Bird, Ernie, and Bert make appearances and join in on the bubble fun. Even Oscar the Grouch gets in on the action, popping bubbles with delight from the safety of his trashcan.
