In Sesame Street season 44 episode 5, titled "Simon Says", Elmo and Rosita are excited to play a game of Simon Says with their friend Simon, who happens to be visiting from France. Simon explains to the two friends that they are going to play a game of Simon Says, where they have to follow his instructions, but only if he says "Simon Says" before the instruction.
The game begins and the trio starts following Simon's instructions, such as "Simon says touch your nose", "Simon says wave your hand", and so on. However, Simon also tricks Elmo and Rosita by giving them instructions without saying "Simon Says" before it, causing them to lose the game. The Sesame Street friends learn a valuable lesson about following instructions carefully and listening closely.
Meanwhile, Cookie Monster is hungry for cookies and goes on a quest to find the largest cookie in Sesame Street. He encounters different characters who offer him different cookies, including a giant cookie from a friendly giant, a cookie made by the Three Little Pigs, and a cookie tent from a cookie salesman. Cookie Monster learns that bigger is not always better and goes back to his friends for a small but tasty cookie.
In another segment, Abby Cadabby and her friend Zoe learn about different emotions by painting their feelings on a canvas. They discuss how they feel when they are happy, sad, angry, or scared, and how expressing their emotions through painting can help them feel better.
The episode also features a letter of the day segment, where Cookie Monster tries to find objects that start with the letter "T". He encounters a turtle, a trumpet, and a tie, among other things.
As always, this Sesame Street episode is filled with fun and educational segments that teach kids important lessons while keeping them entertained. Viewers will enjoy playing Simon Says with Elmo, learning about emotions with Abby, and going on a cookie adventure with Cookie Monster.
