In Sesame Street season 38 episode 5 titled "Fairy Tale Emergencies," the gang is back with new and exciting adventures. The episode revolves around different fairy tale stories where each character faces an emergency.
First, Goldilocks calls for help because she is stuck in the three bears' house, and the bears won't wake up. Elmo and Abby Cadabby rush to her rescue, but they can't make any noise, or they might wake the bears. They come up with a plan to get Goldilocks out without disturbing the slumbering bears.
Next, the Three Little Pigs face a similar emergency when the big, bad wolf tries to sneak into their house. They need to find a way to keep the wolf from blowing their house down. Luckily, Red Riding Hood arrives and helps them build a better, stronger house to ward off the wolf.
Meanwhile, Telly Monster is playing the role of the Ugly Duckling in a school play. During the performance, he realizes that he doesn't have his costume on. Telly runs around Sesame Street, frantically trying to find his costume before the show starts. The kind residents help him look all around town, and Telly finally finds his costume in time for the show.
In the final segment of the show, the Sesame Street characters come together to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. However, when the giant appears, everyone panics, and they don't know how to get away. Suddenly, Super Grover appears, and with his superhero powers, he saves the day, rescuing the frightened characters from the giant's clutches.
Throughout the episode, the Sesame Street characters teach children about the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and staying calm in emergencies. They also introduce classic fairy tale stories and characters, teaching children about familiar stories that they might have heard before.
As always, the Sesame Street characters entertain and educate children through singing, dancing, and fun skits. With the help of familiar faces like Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Super Grover, children will learn valuable lessons that they can carry with them for years to come.
