Ep 21. Early Elmo

In the Sesame Street season 20 episode 21 titled Early Elmo, Elmo wakes up earlier than he intended and decides to explore Sesame Street before his friends wake up. He discovers new things and meets some of the residents of Sesame Street that he doesn't usually see.

First, Elmo goes to Mr. Hooper's store, where he sees Mr. Hooper counting some bananas. Mr. Hooper asks Elmo to help him count the bananas, and Elmo happily agrees. Elmo learns how to count to five, and Mr. Hooper praises him for his counting skills.

After that, Elmo goes to Finders Keepers, where he meets Maria. Maria is getting the store ready for the day, and Elmo offers to help her. He helps her dust the shelves and put some items on display. He also learns a new word - "arrange" - as Maria asks him to arrange some items in a certain way. Elmo is proud to have learned a new word and to have helped Maria.

Finally, Elmo goes to the zoo, where he meets Bob, who is cleaning the animal cages. Bob explains to Elmo what he is doing and why it's important to keep the zoo clean. Elmo then meets some of the animals at the zoo and learns their names and some interesting facts about them.

As the episode comes to a close, Elmo heads back home, feeling happy and proud of all the new things he has learned. His friends are still asleep, but Elmo doesn't mind - he knows that there will be plenty of time to play and have fun with them later in the day.
