Ep 6. Bonds Torn Asunder - Mortifying Retreat for Masamune!

Masamune and Yukimura march towards each other with soldiers on either side, preparing for a clash. However, before they can engage in battle, a powerful earthquake rocks the area, sending both armies into chaos. The forces scatter, and Masamune's second-in-command, Kojuuro, suggests that they call off the fight and retreat. Masamune is hesitant, but eventually agrees, and they begin to withdraw.

However, the retreat quickly becomes disorganized and frantic. Masamune's army is pursued by Yukimura's forces, and they are forced to fight their way out of several ambushes. Throughout the chaos, Masamune struggles to maintain his composure and lead his troops effectively. Meanwhile, his subordinates become increasingly disillusioned and distrustful, and cracks begin to form in their loyalty to him.

As they retreat, Masamune becomes separated from his main force and finds himself facing off against a group of Yukimura's soldiers alone. He manages to fend them off, but is gravely injured in the process. Left alone and wounded, Masamune wonders if this is the end for him.

Meanwhile, Kojuuro and the rest of Masamune's forces continue to fight their way back to their stronghold. Along the way, they encounter a band of rebels who offer to help them in exchange for food and supplies. While Kojuuro initially resists, he eventually agrees, realizing that they are in desperate need of assistance.

As they near their base, Masamune's forces come under attack once again. However, this time they are unexpectedly saved by the arrival of Ieyasu Tokugawa, one of the most powerful warlords in the region. Ieyasu offers to take Masamune and his men in, promising to protect them from their enemies. With no other options, they agree.

As Masamune recovers from his injuries, he reflects on the lessons he has learned. He realizes that he cannot lead his men effectively if he is driven solely by his own desire for power and glory. Instead, he must learn to trust and rely on his subordinates, and work with them to achieve their goals. With this new understanding, Masamune prepares to face his enemies once again.
