Selling the OC is a reality television series that follows a group of real estate agents working for The Oppenheim Group's new office in Newport Beach, California. Premiering on Netflix in 2022, the show is a spin-off of the popular Selling Sunset series, also featuring the luxury real estate brokerage owned by twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

Like its predecessor, Selling the OC gives viewers an inside look at the competitive and glamorous world of selling multi-million dollar properties in Orange County. The agents constantly hustle to land big listings and wealthy clients in hopes of massive commissions. But between the sumptuous open houses and black tie events, office politics and drama ensue as this dynamic cast of agents go head-to-head while trying to establish themselves in the cutthroat OC real estate game.

At the center of the show are Jason Oppenheim and his ambitious VP of Real Estate, Alexandra Hall, who runs the Newport Beach office. Alexandra not only recruits and manages her team of agents, but is a top producer herself, juggling her executive role while keeping up with her own real estate deals. The cast includes a roster of seasoned agents and newcomers including WWE wrestler-turned-realtor Brandi Marshall, self-proclaimed "Asian Baller" and marketing expert Polly Brindle, and Austin Victoria who likes to describe himself as the male version of a "Reiki goddess energetic healer."

As the agents deal with demanding sellers and buyers amid the ultra-competitive, super-charged Newport Beach market, their work lives inevitably cross into their personal lives. Loyalties are tested and power dynamics challenged as clashing personalities, conflicts, and romances arise among the realtors. Alexandra in particular finds herself struggling to appease her agents while also answering to the Oppenheim brothers back in Los Angeles.

Selling the OC also gives glimpses into the lavish lifestyles of the rich and famous who make up the clientele in this opulent beachfront community. Sprawling mansions with infinity pools, private beaches, and custom car garages are par for the course with listings valued from $5 million into the hundreds of millions. The agents network and hobnob with celebrities, pro athletes, CEOs, and billionaire developers at exclusive VIP showings, charity events, and their over-the-top broker open houses.

But underneath the surface of stretched credit limits, Botox, and beach bodies, some agents grapple with deeper issues in their personal lives. Fan-favorite Polly seeks to balance her thriving career while planning her wedding, while the controversially outspoken Gio gets called out for his playboy antics. Others like Sean and Austin also find their professional and party-boy personas at odds as they try to find meaningful relationships.

With soaring highs and challenges, Selling the OC pulls back the curtain on the privileged Orange County luxury real estate scene, and the dynamic agents willing to hustle hard and bring the drama to sell multi-million dollar beachfront properties.

Selling the OC is a series that is currently running and has 3 seasons (24 episodes). The series first aired on August 24, 2022.
