Sell This House is a reality television series that revolves around homeowners struggling to sell their properties. In each episode, the host, Roger Hazard, helps homeowners improve the presentation of their homes to increase their chances of selling them quickly. In season 3 episode 21, Roger assists a homeowner named Angela Victoria O'Neill from Boston, Massachusetts.

Angela has been trying to sell her home for months but has not received any offers. She hopes that Roger's advice can help her make the necessary changes to make her home more appealing to potential buyers. The house is a historic property, built-in 1910 and located in the heart of Boston. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room with a fireplace, and a dining room with a chandelier.

The interior of the home has unique architectural details, such as intricate moldings and stained glass windows. However, the house needs some modernization updates to appeal to modern buyers. The kitchen is outdated with a lack of appliances, and the decor features numerous personal items, which may make it difficult for potential buyers to imagine their own lifestyle in the space.

Roger's first suggestion is to create a simple and modern decor throughout the house by removing clutter and personal items. Roger's team clears out some of the items in the home, including excess furniture, knick-knacks, and personal portraits and photos. This creates a more soothing atmosphere for the buyers and gives a more welcoming feel.

Roger also suggests creating a blank canvas for the buyer's imagination by painting the walls in neutral colors. Not only does this create a welcoming atmosphere, but it also helps potential buyers imagine their own style in the home. The walls are painted in shades of white, ivory, and soft gray, with accent walls in muted blues and greens for added color.

The team also updates the kitchen by adding new appliances and a fresh coat of paint on the cabinets. The dining room gets fresh paint on the walls and new window treatments that let in more natural light. In the living room, Roger swaps out old furniture for more modern pieces with lighter fabrics and updated window treatments.

Roger also assists Angela in creating an inviting curb appeal. They repaint the front porch, add some new potted plants and remove some of the clutter, all of which take away from the historic charm of the home. The team also shows Angela how to declutter her garden and prune her trees to show off the beautiful landscaping, adding to the home's charm.

In the end, Angela's home looks amazing and is ready for the market. With Roger's help, the changes made to the home received enormous positive feedback from various buyers. The show ends with an excited Angela eagerly awaiting positive results from the sale of her beautifully transformed property.

Despite facing challenges, Angela is genuinely pleased with the outcome, and Roger has once again provided a highly effective solution for another homeowner in need of assistance showcasing their property in the best way possible.
