In episode 5 of Sekirei season 1, titled "The Water Sekirei", we are introduced to a new Sekirei named Tsukiumi. She is a water-based Sekirei who seems to have a strong dislike for humans, viewing them as inferior beings. We first see her causing havoc in the city as she tries to find her Ashikabi (master) so she can fulfill her duty as a Sekirei and participate in the Sekirei Plan.

Meanwhile, Minato and his Sekirei get caught up in the chaos caused by Tsukiumi's rampage in the city. They witness her power firsthand and realize that she is a formidable opponent. However, Minato is determined to befriend her and convince her to join his team. After a few failed attempts at reasoning with her, Minato finally manages to calm her down and offers her his hand in friendship.

Elsewhere, we see that the leader of the disciplinary squad, Haihane, has been given the task of taking down Tsukiumi. She agrees to the task, believing that it will lead her closer to finding her own Ashikabi. Nevertheless, she underestimates Tsukiumi's powers and is quickly defeated.

As the episode progresses, we see that Tsukiumi has some sort of history with the water-based Sekirei, Kuno. Kuno seems to have betrayed Tsukiumi in the past, causing her to harbor a grudge against him. It is revealed that Kuno has been working with MBI (the company behind the Sekirei Plan) and has been tasked with capturing Tsukiumi.

As the episode nears its end, Tsukiumi and Minato's team are confronted by Kuno and his fellow water-based Sekirei. A battle ensues, with Minato's team fighting to protect Tsukiumi from Kuno and his team. In the end, Tsukiumi manages to take down Kuno and prove her strength to Minato and his team.
