Ep 4. Strange Story About Izumosou

In Sekirei season 1 episode 4, titled "Strange Story About Izumosou," the story begins with Musubi and Minato wandering through the streets of Tokyo. They come across a strange building called the Izumosou, which is believed to be haunted. Despite the building’s eerie appearance, they end up seeking shelter there after Musubi falls ill.

As they explore the building, they are confronted by three Sekirei who seem to have a personal vendetta against Musubi. They are revealed to be from the Higa Izumi Corporation, one of the Sekirei's companies that uses them for experimentation and testing. The three Sekirei force Musubi and Minato to leave the building, but not before revealing a dark secret about their past.

Back at Minato's apartment, they meet another Sekirei named Kuno who introduces herself as "The King’s Right Hand." She shares that whoever holds the position of "The King" must have at least eight Sekirei by their side to compete in the Sekirei Plan, a deadly game to determine the fate of the Sekirei race. Kuno also reveals to Minato that his childhood friend, Kagari, is also a Sekirei.

Feeling overwhelmed with the revelations, Minato struggles to decide whether to continue helping Musubi as she pursues finding the other Sekirei or not. Meanwhile, Musubi is determined to confront the Higa Corporation and learn more about their past, leading them to prepare for a high-stakes confrontation.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger that sets up for an intense showdown between the Sekirei, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats. Strange Story About Izumosou effectively sets up the stakes and conspiracies of Sekirei, forcing the viewers to question who to trust and what lies ahead for the characters as they become embroiled in a dangerous world of politics, violence, and deception.
