Ep 9. The Sponge

Jerry lands in hot water when he gives his girlfriend a childish gift, a "Sponge-worthy" toy. He discovers that the girl he's dating only deems certain men worthy of using her coveted birth control product, resulting in his having to insert a test run of sorts. Meanwhile, Kramer, Elaine and George come up with other methods of birth control. George's idea: abstinence. Elaine's idea: the sponge. Kramer's idea: swimmer's ear drops. Jerry's girlfriend decides he is "Sponge-worthy" and asks him to stock up for her. But when the company that makes the sponge goes off the market, Elaine buys up all the sponges she can find.
