Jerry Seinfeld is back with yet another hilarious episode of his hit sitcom Seinfeld, season 7 episode 20 entitled The Calzone.
The episode starts with Jerry's friend and fellow comedian George Costanza facing a dilemma at his workplace, the New York Yankees stadium. As a loyal employee, George feels that he hasn't been getting the recognition he deserves, especially since he's been working for the Yankees for 7 years now. However, the Yankees executives don't agree with him and refuse to give him a promotion or even a raise.
Meanwhile, Jerry is busy enjoying the perks of his fame and fortune, which include having his own private bathroom at NBC studios. However, these privileges come to an end when NBC executive David Letterman decides to use Jerry's bathroom, leaving it a complete mess. Frustrated with the situation, Jerry decides to take revenge by sneaking into David Letterman's office and stealing his favorite calzone for lunch.
As Jerry enjoys the stolen meal, his friend Elaine Benes, who works at the publishing company Pendant Publishing, is dealing with her own problem. Elaine is assigned to work with a famous author named J. Peterman, who is known for his eccentric personality and unique writing style. Elaine's job is to proofread J. Peterman's latest book, which turns out to be not only long and tedious but also very boring.
As if these problems weren't enough, George comes up with a plan to get revenge on the Yankees executives by sneaking a calzone into their offices as a good luck charm for a big game. However, the plan goes horribly wrong when the calzone is stolen by a security guard, forcing George to take drastic measures to retrieve it.
The Calzone is filled with hilarious moments and witty dialogue, from Jerry's attempts to get back at David Letterman to George's failed plan to bring a good luck charm to the Yankees executives. The episode also features some great guest appearances, including a cameo by David Letterman himself, as well as actor Peter Stormare, who plays a belligerent Kenny Bania.
Overall, Seinfeld season 7 episode 20 The Calzone is a must-watch for fans of the show, offering plenty of laughs and memorable moments. With its clever writing, sharp humor, and excellent cast, it's no wonder that Seinfeld remains one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time.
