Jerry's romantic life takes a hit when he discovers that his girlfriend, Anna, used to be a championship gymnast. He becomes fixated on her athletic abilities and can't stop thinking about her body and flexibility. Meanwhile, Elaine is intrigued by a handsome new colleague, Bob Cobb, who she discovers is a "close talker" - someone who stands too close and invades personal space during conversations. The uncomfortable encounters with Bob lead Elaine to try to end their friendship.
George, on the other hand, is dealing with a case of mistaken identity - a man at the gym keeps calling him "Biff" and he doesn't have the heart to correct him. He uses this to his advantage when he realizes "Biff" is a successful lawyer who can get him a job. However, things become complicated when the real Biff shows up and George's lies catch up to him.
Throughout the episode, the characters navigate their personal and professional relationships while encountering a few mishaps and miscommunications along the way. As usual, Seinfeld's signature humor and wit shine through in their various hijinks and banter.
In the end, each character learns a lesson about themselves and their relationships. Jerry realizes that his obsession with Anna's athleticism is not a healthy basis for their connection, Elaine learns to stand up for her personal space and boundaries, and George comes clean about his deception and faces the consequences. The episode concludes with the characters back at Jerry's apartment, continuing their never-ending conversation about life's peculiarities.
