Ep 5. The Couch

In Seinfeld season 6 episode 5, titled "The Couch," Jerry's new couch gets ruined when Elaine's friend, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus' real-life sister, accidentally leaves a huge red wine stain on it. In an attempt to save the couch, Jerry and Elaine take it to one of Jerry's comedian friends to have it cleaned, but end up with an even bigger problem.

Meanwhile, Kramer becomes obsessed with getting rid of a red light outside his apartment that he believes is keeping him awake. He enlists the help of Newman, who suggests they steal the bulb, but things do not go according to plan.
