Ep 5. The Wallet (1)

Jerry is out with his girlfriend, Naomi, when she receives a phone call from her sister with news that their father is in the hospital. Before they leave, Naomi tells Jerry that he has to change clothes because she doesn't like his jacket. Later that night, Naomi accidentally leaves her wallet in Jerry's car.

Meanwhile, George is excited to learn that he has an efficient way of getting his clothes cleaned. Instead of taking his clothes to the cleaners and waiting a couple of days for them to be cleaned, he has been going to the laundromat and washing his clothes himself. Kramer, on the other hand, has found a mysterious wallet and is trying to get the identification of the owner.

The episode takes a comedic turn when Jerry finds Naomi's wallet and sees that it's full of credit cards. Despite having only one in his wallet, he starts fantasizing about the possibility of having multiple credit cards. Later, Jerry and Naomi go to visit her father in the hospital and they bump into an old high school friend of Jerry's who is now a doctor. They start talking about the old times, leading Naomi to feel left out of the conversation. Jerry tries to salvage the situation by introducing Naomi as his girlfriend, but she corrects him by saying that they are just "hanging out".

Back at Jerry's apartment, Naomi tells him that she has a meeting and has to leave, but she forgets her wallet again. Jerry, taking advantage of the opportunity, goes on a spending spree with her credit cards. However, he gets caught in the act when the cashier calls Naomi to verify the purchase. This makes her angry, and Jerry has to work hard to make it up to her.

Meanwhile, Kramer continues his search for the owner of the wallet he found. He goes to the library to use the phone book to look for the owner's name, but he is interrupted when he sees a beautiful woman walking past him with a book on Russian culture. He becomes fascinated with her and spends the day trying to impress her with his knowledge about Russian history. Later, he decides to use his friend Mickey's phone to make the call to the owner of the wallet. However, through a series of unfortunate events, Kramer ends up losing the wallet.

The episode ends with everyone dealing with the consequences of their actions. Jerry has to make things right with Naomi, George's new method of cleaning his clothes doesn't work out as planned, and Kramer feels guilty about losing the wallet. In the end, the person who lost the wallet comes to Jerry's apartment to retrieve it, and Naomi and Jerry agree to start over and give their relationship another chance.
