In "SEAL Team" season 2 episode 14, entitled "What Appears to Be," the elite Navy SEAL team embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue American hostages held captive in Nigeria. Meanwhile, back home in the States, Jason's family is dealing with their own set of challenges. His wife Alana (Michaela McManus) faces a difficult decision regarding her health, while his daughter Emma (Kerri Medders) struggles to cope with a recent tragedy.
As the team continues their mission in Nigeria, tensions rise between members and secrets surface that threaten to tear them apart. Through it all, however, the bonds of brotherhood forged through their shared experiences in combat continue to hold them together, giving them the strength and tenacity to persevere through even the toughest of situations.
As the episode comes to a close, the team successfully completes their mission and returns home, but not without scars and memories that will stay with them forever. The lasting effects of war are felt in every aspect of their lives, but through it all, they continue to uphold their duty to their country and to each other, forging ahead with an unwavering sense of honor and pride in their service.
