Ep 6. Hooked, Hit and Helpless

In season 7 episode 6 of Sea Rescue titled "Hooked, Hit and Helpless," viewers are taken on a journey to the Gulf of Mexico to witness some incredible rescues. The episode opens with the team responding to a distress call from a loggerhead turtle, who has been caught in a fishing line and is struggling to swim. The team is quick to arrive at the scene and work together to safely remove the fishing line from the turtle's body. With the turtle freed from the fishing line, the team jumps into action to assess its health and release it back into the wild.
As the episode continues, the team is called to another rescue, this time for a bottlenose dolphin who has been hit by a boat. The dolphin is found stranded on a nearby shore, and the team works quickly to stabilize it and transport it to a nearby rehabilitation facility. Once at the facility, the dolphin is given an extensive medical check-up and receives the care it needs to recover from its injuries.
But the rescues don't stop there. The team is also called to help a baby manatee who has been separated from its mother and stranded on a sandbar. With the help of some local volunteers, the team is able to safely transport the manatee to a rehabilitation facility, where it can receive the care and attention it needs until it's strong enough to be released back into the wild.
