Sea Rescue season 6 episode 4, titled "Contaminated Waters," follows the dramatic rescues of marine animals impacted by pollution. From Florida to Hawaii, SeaWorld's rescue teams work tirelessly to save dolphins, sea turtles, and other creatures from entanglement in plastic and oil spills.

The episode opens with a harrowing rescue of a juvenile green sea turtle in a canal near Miami. The turtle is trapped in a tangle of fishing line and struggling to stay afloat. SeaWorld's team carefully cuts away the line and lifts the turtle into a rescue boat. After a quick exam, they determine that the turtle needs medical care and transport it to a rehabilitation center.

Next, the episode takes viewers to Hawaii, where a humpback whale is spotted entangled in a mass of fishing gear. The whale is visibly distressed, thrashing and diving in an attempt to free itself. SeaWorld's rescue team coordinates with local authorities to track the whale's movements and prepare for a rescue. Using specialized gear and carefully approaching the distressed animal, they are eventually able to cut away the tangled fishing lines and free the whale. The team watches as the whale swims away, grateful for another successful rescue.

The episode then takes a darker turn as the effects of pollution on marine animals are examined. In Florida, SeaWorld's team receives a call about a dolphin stranded in a canal. They quickly realize that the dolphin is covered in oil from a nearby spill. The team carefully lifts the dolphin onto a rescue boat and begins administering emergency care. Watching the oil-covered dolphin struggle for survival is a sobering reminder of the impact of human activity on the environment.

The episode ends with a message of hope as SeaWorld's teams work tirelessly to help marine animals impacted by pollution. Through their efforts, viewers see that it is possible to make a difference and protect vulnerable species threatened by human activity. The episode serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of respecting and protecting the natural world.
