He uses his diving knife to sever the wire connecting the mine to the wreckage, and the magnetic field immediately decreases to tolerable levels. Mike manages to dispose of the mine safely, and the shipping lanes are finally cleared of any danger.

The episode ends with Mike congratulating his team for their successful mission, and he returns the diving suit to his friend.
