In the eighth episode of the eighth season of Scrubs, titled "My Lawyer's in Love", we see a lot of relationship drama between the characters. This episode focuses on Cox and Jordan's relationship, as well as the love triangle between J.D., Elliot, and Keith.
The episode begins with J.D. and Elliot trying to find a moment to hook up, but their attempts are constantly interrupted by work or other people. Meanwhile, Keith is trying to find a way to propose to Elliot, but is having trouble finding the perfect moment.
Elsewhere, Cox is frustrated with Jordan constantly talking about her new job, which is as a pharmaceutical salesperson. He doesn't think she's doing any good in her job and is annoyed that she keeps trying to sell him drugs.
The situation with Cox and Jordan escalates when Cox gets into an argument with a patient's lawyer. The lawyer turns out to be Jordan's ex-boyfriend, who she still has feelings for. Jordan starts spending more time with the lawyer, causing Cox to become jealous and angry.
Meanwhile, Keith comes up with a plan to propose to Elliot at a wedding they're attending that weekend. However, J.D. accidentally blurts out the plan in front of Elliot, ruining the surprise. Keith is heartbroken, but Elliot tells him she still wants to be with him and they kiss.
Back at the hospital, Cox confronts Jordan about her relationship with the lawyer. They have a huge fight and Jordan decides to move out of their apartment. Cox is devastated and realizes how much he loves Jordan. He goes to her and begs her to come back, telling her how much he needs her in his life.
In the end, everyone ends up back with their significant others, but it's clear that there will be more drama in the future for these relationships. This episode shows the ups and downs of relationships, as well as the difficulty of balancing work and love.
