Scooby and Shaggy enter a race across Greenland, "The Polar Bear 3000," in order to stop Dr. Phibes' evil agents from transporting an Electromagnetic Device, that when detonated, will knock out worldwide telecommunications-and, in fact, anything and everything electronic. Fearing for the mayhem that will ensue, not to mention the end of video games, Scooby and Shaggy battle Phibes' agents in a high-octane action adventure race, transforming the Mystery Machine again and again to adapt to the ever-changing terrain. After winning the race, Scooby and Shaggy make the horrible discovery that they are carrying the device in their own car. But after it goes off, our heroes use a Super Speed Scooby Snack to allow Scooby to reverse the flow of time. Once back in time, Scooby and Shaggy meet up with themselves in the past and pass on the knowledge that is vital to shutting down Phibes' evil plan, thus saving the day.
