In Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo season 3 episode 8, titled "Waxworld," the gang finds themselves at a wax museum that has recently opened in town. The museum is owned by a man named Mr. Baffles, who claims to have created the most realistic wax figures in the world.
As the gang begins to explore the museum, they notice that the wax figures seem to be a little too realistic - almost as if they're alive. They soon discover that the museum is run by a group of criminals who are using the wax figures as a cover for their illegal activities.
To make matters worse, the gang is separated when they are trapped in different parts of the museum. Scooby, Shaggy, and Scrappy are chased by a group of wax figures who try to capture them, while Daphne and Velma try to find a way out of the museum and call for help.
As they try to escape, the gang uncovers more clues about the criminal's plan. They eventually discover that the wax figures are being used as distractions so that the criminals can steal valuable items from wealthy visitors to the museum.
With the help of some quick thinking and bravery, the gang manages to apprehend the criminals and save the day. As they exit the museum, they realize that they have been covered in wax from head to toe.
Despite the scary moments, the gang can't help but laugh as they try to clean themselves off. They leave the museum feeling relieved that they've solved another mystery, but also happy to be back in the real world.
