In Scooby Doo! And Guess Who? season 1 episode 3 titled "Peebles' Pet Shop of Terrible Terrors!", the gang receives a mysterious call from their friend Vincent Van Ghoul. He warns them about the Pet Shop of Terrible Terrors. A pet shop owned by Dr. Peebles who is a renowned scientist and collector of rare animals.
The gang arrives at the pet shop with Vincent and runs into Dr. Peebles who is busy working on a device called the "Terrarium Transmogrifier". The device is used to transfer the genetic traits of one animal onto another. To demonstrate the device, Dr. Peebles attempts to transfer the speed of a cheetah onto a turtle but things go wrong and instead the turtle turns into a giant, rampaging monster.
The gang decides to investigate the pet shop and discover that there are several rare and dangerous creatures kept within its walls. They also find out that Dr. Peebles has been secretly experimenting with his Terrarium Transmogrifier, and his experiments have been causing the animals to mutate.
But as the gang digs deeper into their investigation, they are faced with many dangers. They are chased by a giant monster rat, attacked by a swarm of robot bees, and nearly swallowed by a giant dinosaur. Nevertheless, they persist and in the end, they discover that the experiments gave rise to the creature that they have been tracking since the beginning of the episode.
The creature turns out to be a rare and monstrous hybrid of a cockroach and a scorpion called the "Scorpioch" and it's wreaking havoc in the pet shop. After a long and intense battle, they are able to subdue the creature and stop Dr. Peebles' experiments.
With the pet shop closed and Dr. Peebles stopped, the gang is able to leave with Vincent. In the end, they regroup and reflect on how they never know what mystery they will stumble upon next.
Overall, "Peebles' Pet Shop of Terrible Terrors!" is an exciting episode full of humor, action, and suspense. It is a great addition to the Scooby Doo! And Guess Who? series, and it is sure to keep fans of the franchise engaged.
