Ep 5. #05

In episode 5 of Schwarzes Marken, the Brigade is sent to the Soviet Union to carry out a mission to recover data from a facility under attack. The episode focuses on Lise, a former member of the 666th squadron and the younger sister of the main character, Theodor. It is revealed that Lise has defected to the East German Stasi and is working with the Soviet Union against her former comrades.

As the Brigade approaches the facility, they encounter heavy resistance from the enemy. They are able to push through and reach the command center, where they discover that their mission was a trap set by Lise. The data they were sent to retrieve was a falsified dossier designed to expose the weaknesses of the Brigade to the enemy.

Theodor is devastated by the revelation that his sister has betrayed them. He confronts her, pleading with her to come back to their side and revealing that he still loves her despite everything. Lise coldly rejects his advances and disappears, leaving Theodor heartbroken and unsure of what to do next.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team prepares to evacuate the facility before it is destroyed by the enemy. Just as they are about to leave, they encounter a group of civilians who are being held captive by the Soviets. The Brigade decides to risk their lives to rescue the prisoners, leading to a tense and action-packed sequence as they fight their way out of the facility.

The episode ends with the Brigade returning to base, shaken by the events of the mission. Theodor is left to grapple with the fact that his sister has turned against him and the rest of his team, while the rest of the group struggles to come to terms with the sacrifice they made to save the prisoners. The episode sets up a tense and emotionally charged storyline for the second half of the season as the Brigade continues to fight against the odds to protect their country and their loved ones.
