Ep 1. Heart-throb in a new term! / Flailing over a love letter! / A heart-pounding bicycle ride!

As the first episode of season one begins, we are introduced to Harima Kenji, a delinquent student who has returned to school after being expelled the previous year. Although he is feared by many of the students, Kenji is hopelessly in love with Tenma Tsukamoto, a kind-hearted and bubbly girl who is completely oblivious to his feelings.

When a new school term begins, Kenji believes that this is his chance to finally confess his love to Tenma. However, his plans are quickly thwarted when he becomes the unwitting recipient of a love letter meant for Tenma. Although he initially mistakes the letter for a prank, Kenji soon realizes that someone has genuine feelings for him.

As he struggles to figure out who could have possibly sent him the letter, Kenji finds himself drawn into a series of amusing misadventures. When he tries to escape the scrutiny of his classmates, he finds himself in a compromising position with Tenma and her friends. And when he tries to confront the mysterious sender of the letter, he ends up in a heated bicycle race that has his heart pounding with excitement.

Despite the chaos that surrounds him, Kenji remains steadfast in his determination to win Tenma's heart. By the end of the episode, we are left with the sense that anything is possible in the unpredictable world of School Rumble.
