Ep 8. The Hospies

Johnny, Moira, David, and Alexis are getting ready for the upcoming Hospie Awards, where they've been nominated for their hospitality. However, their spirits are dampened when they learn that the award ceremony will be held at a nearby car dealership. In an effort to save face, Johnny and Stevie team up to convert the dealership into a luxurious event space.

Meanwhile, David is nervous about presenting an award at the ceremony, and seeks advice from Twyla and Patrick. Twyla urges David to inject his own personality into the presentation, while Patrick encourages him to focus on the importance of community.

Alexis, on the other hand, is struggling with the fact that her ex-boyfriend Ted will also be attending the awards. When Ted and his new girlfriend arrive at the motel, Alexis finds herself feeling jealous and insecure. She confides in Moira, who encourages her to focus on her own personal growth and not let her emotions dictate her actions.

As the awards ceremony approaches, the Roses' efforts to transform the car dealership into a sophisticated venue run into a series of setbacks. However, with the help of their friends and the townspeople, they manage to pull off a successful event and win multiple awards.

After the ceremony, the Roses gather at the motel to celebrate their victories and reflect on the importance of community and family. The episode ends on a heartwarming note, as the family takes comfort in the fact that they've found a home in Schitt's Creek.
