Scaredy Squirrel is a Canadian animated comedy television series based on the book series of the same name by author Mélanie Watt. The series follows the adventures of the titular character, a fastidious and anxious squirrel named Scaredy, as he navigates the challenges of life in a forest beside an animal highway.

In the episode "Rockabye Rock / Hammock Havock," Scaredy is determined to find the perfect spot to relax and unwind in the forest. The episode opens with Scaredy idly flipping through a catalog of outdoor hammocks, daydreaming about the joys of kicking back in a cozy sling suspended between two trees.

At that moment, a particularly noisy truck rumbles by on the animal highway, shaking Scaredy's tree and causing him to fall out of his hammock daydream and onto the forest floor. Determined to find a quieter spot, Scaredy sets out on a quest to locate the most peaceful spot in the forest.

His first attempt takes him to a tiny island in the middle of a tranquil pond, where he sets up his hammock and begins to relax. However, he soon finds that the pond is filled with a variety of noisy aquatic creatures, from croaking frogs to squawking ducks. Frustrated, Scaredy retreats back to the shore and continues his search.

Next, Scaredy scouts out a secluded meadow where he doesn't expect to be disturbed. However, he quickly learns that the meadow is home to a boisterous family of rabbits, who proceed to overrun Scaredy's hammock and turn it into a makeshift trampoline. With no other options left, Scaredy returns to his home tree.

Back at his tree, Scaredy has an idea: what if he could find a rock or boulder that would serve as a natural hammock anchor point, eliminating the need for trees altogether? With renewed hope, Scaredy heads up into the hills to hunt for the perfect boulder.

However, his search quickly turns into a harrowing adventure as he finds himself wandering through a maze of rocky canyons and cliffs. He nearly gives up hope, but eventually he finds the perfect boulder: a massive slab that's flat on top and tall enough to keep him out of reach of the forest floor.

Scaredy rigs up his hammock and climbs inside, feeling proud of himself for persevering through the challenges of the day. However, his moment of relaxation is short-lived as he soon realizes that the boulder is located on a nearby mountain, which is beginning to shake and rumble beneath him. Is Scaredy's perfect relaxation spot about to become a perilous earthquake zone?
