Ep 18. Cowlicked / Snerd Envy

Dave's cunning tactics take Scaredy's position and he becomes the hero of the store, something Scaredy has always wanted to be. But Dave's power trip gets cut short as he realizes the responsibilities that come with that power.

In addition to his hair troubles, Scaredy has been eyeing a pair of fashionable suspenders that are all the rage. The classless squirrel, Snerd, however, manages to purchase the last pair in the store. Scaredy becomes envious of the prissy look that Snerd pulls off with those suspenders. As he attempts to flaunt the same style, his own outfit takes an embarrassing turn for the worse.

Throughout the episode, Scaredy Squirrel's overthinking and worry come to the foreground. He freaks out when someone touches his control panel and when he loses his special cheese move. Even when things seem to be going well, something always seems to trigger his anxiety.

But with calming techniques and prompts, Scaredy maneuvers his way through his troubles from start to finish. He learns some lessons along the way and finally ends up with a newfound sense of confidence and self-acceptance.
