Amanda is subpoenaed to testify in court against her former college friend who is suspected of being a spy. She's hesitant to do so but ultimately agrees when she realizes that her friend may have access to classified information.
Scarecrow is assigned to protect Amanda and accompany her to the courthouse. As they navigate through the city, they're tailed by some suspicious characters, making them both nervous.
At the courthouse, Amanda's old friend tries to convince her to lie on the stand and protect her. Amanda struggles with her decision and begins to doubt her friend's guilt, despite the evidence against her.
Meanwhile, Scarecrow works to identify the people who have been following them and learns that they're a group of KGB agents who are trying to take down Amanda's friend and anyone associated with her.
As the trial progresses, it becomes clear that Amanda's friend is indeed a spy and has been passing classified information to the KGB. With this revelation, Amanda decides to testify truthfully, putting her own safety in jeopardy.
In a tense standoff, Scarecrow and Amanda are trapped in the courthouse with the KGB agents closing in. They must use their wit and resources to escape and bring the spy to justice.
In the end, Amanda realizes the importance of telling the truth, even when it's difficult, and the team comes out victorious.
