Mara is a bride-to-be who is looking for the perfect dress for her destination wedding in Puerto Rico. She is accompanied by her mother and grandmother who have very different opinions on what the perfect dress should be. Mara is also recovering from breast cancer, and wants a dress that will make her feel confident and beautiful on her special day.

Mara's consultant, Lori, pulls several dresses for her to try on, but none of them seem to be the right fit. Mara's mother and grandmother are also not impressed with any of the dresses. Lori suggests that they try a different style of dress, and pulls a ball gown with a beaded bodice and tulle skirt. Mara is hesitant, but agrees to try it on.

As soon as Mara steps out in the ball gown, her mother and grandmother are in tears. Mara looks stunning, and feels confident and beautiful in the dress. However, she is concerned about being able to move and dance in the dress, as well as the fact that it may be too hot for her Puerto Rico wedding. Lori suggests adding a detachable skirt for the ceremony, and removing it for the reception.

With the support of her mother, grandmother, and Lori, Mara decides to say yes to the dress. She feels like a princess, and knows that this is the dress she will wear as she marries the love of her life.

Meanwhile, another bride, DeAnna, is also searching for the perfect dress. She is accompanied by her mother and two best friends, who have very strong opinions on what the perfect dress should be. DeAnna is looking for a dress that will make her feel beautiful and confident on her wedding day, but is also concerned about staying within her budget.

DeAnna tries on several dresses, but none of them seem to be the right fit. Her friends and mother are very opinionated, and their comments are making DeAnna feel more confused and unsure of what she wants. Lori steps in and suggests that they take a break, and sit down to discuss what DeAnna is really looking for in a dress.

With Lori's guidance, DeAnna is able to articulate that she wants a dress that is unique, elegant, and timeless. Lori pulls a dress that fits all of those criteria, and DeAnna falls in love with it as soon as she tries it on. The dress has a fitted lace bodice, with a tulle skirt and train. It is classic and elegant, but also has a unique twist with the lace detailing.

DeAnna's friends and mother are also impressed with the dress, and are happy to see her feeling confident and beautiful in it. However, they are concerned about the price tag, which is over DeAnna's budget. With Lori's help, they are able to negotiate a lower price, and DeAnna is thrilled to be able to say yes to the dress.

As the episode comes to a close, both Mara and DeAnna are thrilled with their dress choices, and feel confident and beautiful as they prepare to walk down the aisle. Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta celebrates the joy and excitement of finding the perfect wedding dress, and the support and love that comes from friends and family during this special time.
