Each student is paired up with a teacher and tasked with running their class as the teacher takes on the role of student.
As the episode begins, Zack Morris is paired up with the tough-as-nails Mrs. Wentworth, who immediately puts him in his place when he tries to be funny. Meanwhile, Slater is paired with Mr. Tuttle, who is thrilled to have a jock in his class, and Screech is paired up with the overly-affectionate Ms. Simpson.
