In Saved by the Bell season 2 episode 3, titled "The Gift," the gang at Bayside High is excited as Homecoming weekend approaches, but things start to get complicated when they discover that someone has stolen the school's Homecoming Queen crown.
The episode kicks off with the students of Bayside High eagerly awaiting Homecoming weekend, as the school preparations for the big event are in full swing. Zack (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Kelly (played by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), Screech (played by Dustin Diamond), and Lisa (played by Lark Voorhies) are all excited to participate in the Homecoming parade and dance, but there's one person who isn't feeling the excitement - Jessie (played by Elizabeth Berkley).
Jessie is feeling a bit down because she's not nominated for Homecoming Queen, despite her numerous achievements at school. However, her spirits lift when she learns that her best friend Lisa has nominated her as a last-minute candidate. Despite the late entry, Jesse officially becomes a Homecoming Queen candidate.
The morning of Homecoming, Principal Belding (played by Dennis Haskins) discovers that the crown for the Homecoming Queen is missing, which throws a wrench in the day's planned festivities. Belding immediately calls a school assembly to announce the missing crown, and announces that until it is found, Homecoming events will be postponed indefinitely.
The gang of friends at Bayside High decide to band together to find the crown and save Homecoming weekend. They start with a thorough search of the school but come up empty-handed. However, they soon discover that they aren't the only ones searching - as it turns out, a group of students from Valley High, Bayside's rival school, are also in on the hunt for the crown.
The two groups work together to solve the mystery, following clues that lead them around the school and the nearby town. Along the way, the Bayside gang learns a valuable lesson about working together and putting aside differences - they manage to bond with their rivals in a shared goal to make Homecoming a success.
Finally, the groups put their clues together and are led to another school in the area, where they discover the crown inside a locked locker. They return just in time for the Homecoming dance, where the winner of the Homecoming Queen is finally announced.
In the end, all the friends at Bayside High feel satisfied with their hard work and teamwork to find the missing crown and save the day. The episode ends with everyone dancing and celebrating a successful Homecoming, bond and relation between different group of students has been strengthen and it has been a great collective effort on part of students, faculties and students from other schools too.
