Kieran Culkin, star of the hit series "Succession," hosts this episode of "Saturday Night Live" alongside musical guest Ed Sheeran.

The episode opens with a cold open sketch that mocks the recent controversy around Facebook and its handling of misinformation. The sketch features a cameo from Culkin's "Succession" co-star, Brian Cox.

In one sketch, Culkin plays a man who is obsessed with his new smartwatch and becomes increasingly reliant on it to make decisions for him. Meanwhile, Sheeran appears in a sketch that parodies his own persona as a sensitive singer-songwriter.

The show also features a pre-taped sketch in which Culkin plays a man who becomes convinced that his entire life is a simulation. Sheeran makes a cameo in the sketch as a computer-generated character.

Other sketches in the episode include a parody of the popular true-crime series "Making a Murderer," a parody of the dating app Tinder, and a musical performance by Sheeran.

As always, there are plenty of topical jokes in the Weekend Update segment, which features regular anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che.

Overall, this episode of "Saturday Night Live" features a strong performance from Culkin and plenty of laughs thanks to the talented cast and writers. Sheeran also delivers a memorable musical performance that will have fans talking for weeks to come.
