Ashton Kutcher, Hollywood actor and producer, hosted the 10th episode of season 33 of Saturday Night Live. The show kicked off with a skit titled "Hillary's Christmas Message", where Hillary Clinton, played by Amy Poehler, sent out well-wishes for the holiday season but also took jabs at her political opponents. The opening monologue saw Kutcher telling self-deprecating jokes about his public image and his marriage to Demi Moore.
One of the standout skits of the episode was "Bronx Beat", a talk show hosted by Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler, where they interviewed Kutcher, playing a part-time hairdresser named Greg, and talked about their favorite holiday traditions. The skit was hilarious and provided a nice break from the show's political commentary.
Another notable skit was "MacGruber", a recurring skit featuring Will Forte as the titular character, a parody of the classic action TV series "Macgyver". In this episode, MacGruber tries to disarm a bomb with the help of Kutcher's character, and hilarity ensues.
Gnarls Barkley, the musical guest for the evening, performed their hit songs "Run" and "Crazy". Their performances were energetic and well-received by the audience.
The episode also had several political skits, including "Hardball" with Chris Matthews, where Darrell Hammond played Matthews interviewing various political figures, and "Weekend Update", where Seth Meyers gave his thoughts on current events and political figures. The show also aired a commercial parody for a fictional perfume called "Complicit", featuring Scarlett Johansson.
Overall, this episode of Saturday Night Live was a solid entry in the show's history. With a strong host, funny skits, and great musical guest, viewers were sure to enjoy the show.
