Ep 1. The Last Sontaran, Pt. 1

The Sarah Jane Adventures follows the adventures of journalist Sarah Jane Smith as she investigates extraterrestrial threats in modern-day London with the help of her teenage companions.

In season 2, episode 1, titled "The Last Sontaran, Pt. 1," Sarah Jane and her gang stumble upon a crashed spaceship in the woods, leading to the discovery of an alien warrior named Sontaran. The Sontaran, named Commander Kaagh, reveals himself to be the last of his kind and is on a mission to create a new army to conquer the universe.

Kaagh attempts to recruit Sarah Jane's adopted son, Luke, as his protégé--offering to teach him how to be a warrior--but Luke refuses and the group narrowly escapes. Meanwhile, a group of schoolchildren have inadvertently stumbled upon Kaagh's spaceship and are taken prisoner. Sarah Jane, Luke, and their companions quickly devise a plan to rescue the children and stop Kaagh from his villainous plans.

This episode marks the return of the Sontarans, a popular alien race from the classic Doctor Who series, and sets the stage for an action-packed season filled with sci-fi thrills and compelling character development.
