Sarah & Duck season 2 episode 16, titled "The Big Sleepover," follows Sarah and Duck as they host a sleepover with their animal friends. The episode begins with Sarah planning the sleepover and inviting all of their animal friends. When they arrive, Sarah and Duck show their guests around, demonstrating how to use the pull-out sofa bed and inviting everyone to play board games.
As the night goes on, the animals start to get a little restless. When Sarah and Duck suggest a game of follow the leader, things quickly go awry as the animals become increasingly competitive. Next, they try to tell each other scary stories, but every time it's someone else's turn, the stories get more and more ridiculous. Finally, they all settle down to watch a movie, but it's not long before most of the animals fall asleep.
The only ones left awake are Sarah, Duck, and a nocturnal hedgehog who insists on staying up all night. They play quietly for a while, but eventually, they start to feel sleepy too. Just as they are about to drift off, they hear a strange noise coming from outside. It turns out to be a friendly owl who has come to join the sleepover. Everyone is delighted and they spend the rest of the night chatting and playing together.
In the morning, Sarah and Duck make breakfast for everyone, and the animals all say their goodbyes. As they clean up and get ready for the day, Sarah and Duck reflect on how much fun they had and how nice it was to have everyone over for the night.
