Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! That's right, it's Halloween time on Sandwich King, and Jeff Mauro is cooking up some spooky treats.
In this episode, Jeff shows off his creativity by making Halloween-themed sandwiches that are sure to impress both kids and adults alike. First up is the "Witch's Broomstick," a sandwich made with prosciutto, smoked mozzarella, and arugula on a long pretzel roll that looks just like a broomstick. Jeff also makes a "Mummy Muffuletta" with salami, mortadella, provolone, and olive tapenade that's wrapped in strips of puff pastry to look like a mummy.
But the real star of the show is the "Grilled Cheese Pumpkin Patch," a sandwich that's almost too cute to eat. Jeff uses mini pumpkin-shaped cookie cutters to cut bread slices into pumpkin shapes, then grills them up with cheddar cheese and roasted pumpkin. The finishing touch is a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds on top.
Of course, no Halloween episode would be complete without some treats, and Jeff delivers with his "Candy Corn Wafflewich." This sweet sandwich is made with waffles, peanut butter, banana slices, and candy corn. It's a little bit crazy, a little bit indulgent, and a whole lot of fun.
But Jeff doesn't forget about the savory side of Halloween, either. He also makes a "Goblin Goulash" with beef, onions, tomatoes, and pasta, along with a side of "Batwings," which are really just chicken wings with a spicy garlic sauce.
Finally, for dessert, Jeff makes a "Witch's Brew" cake that's equal parts creepy and delicious. The cake is shaped like a cauldron and made with chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding, and green frosting. It's topped with gummy worms and spiders, making it the perfect centerpiece for any Halloween party.
Overall, Trick or Treat Eats is a fun and festive episode of Sandwich King that's full of creative sandwich ideas and spooky treats. Jeff Mauro's enthusiasm and humor are sure to put a smile on your face, and you'll definitely want to try out some of these recipes for your own Halloween party.
