The next stop is Subway, where Sam and Jason attempt to recreate the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich from the Japanese menu. They marinate the chicken in a homemade teriyaki sauce and grill it to perfection. They also make a creamy dressing to add to the sandwich and add some additional vegetables to give it a crunch. The final sandwich looks and tastes amazing, with the teriyaki sauce adding an extra layer of bold flavor.
At the last stop, Sam and Jason head to Starbucks to try and recreate the Iced Matcha Latte from the Japanese menu. They start by making a homemade matcha syrup using matcha powder and sugar. They then mix the syrup with milk and ice to create a refreshing and delicious drink. The team is pleased with their final creation, claiming it's even better than the original.
