Ep 7. Return To Delaware

The Salvage Dawgs are back to their roots in Delaware for this episode. The team visits various locations across the state, including historic homes, barns and even a boat factory, in search of unique and authentic pieces to add to their collection.

Their first stop is an old home in Greenwood, Delaware where they hope to find some interesting salvage pieces. The team is greeted with a warm welcome from the homeowners who have been collecting antiques for years. Inside the home, they discover a number of unique pieces, such as an old wooden wheelbarrow and an antique butcher block. But the real treasure they find is a set of beautiful, hand-carved wooden doors that they carefully remove with the help of the homeowner.

Next, they visit a barn in Newport, Delaware that's been in the same family for over a century. The barn is filled with a variety of salvaged pieces that the team carefully sorts through. They find a set of old metal lockers that they plan to upcycle into a cabinet, as well as a rustic wood plank that they'll use to create a new coffee table.

Their final stop is at a boat factory in Bridgeville, Delaware, where they hope to find some nautical-themed pieces to add to their collection. The team is greeted by the owner who shows them around the factory. They discover a variety of nautical-themed pieces, such as old boat parts and dock cleats. But the real highlight of their visit is a beautiful wooden boat railing that they can't resist bringing back to their shop.

Back at their shop in Roanoke, Virginia, the team begins the process of upcycling and restoring the various salvage pieces they've collected. They turn the lockers they found into a beautiful new cabinet and create a unique shelving unit out of the wooden plank they collected from the barn. They also carefully restore the hand-carved wooden doors they found in the old home, giving them a new life as a beautiful headboard.

At the end of the episode, the team reflects on their visit to Delaware and the unique salvage pieces they collected. They talk about the importance of preserving the past and giving new life to these historic pieces. And, as always, they look forward to their next salvage adventure.
